Nov 17: Guest Workshop with Charith W and UNICEF

Introduction:

This project aims to raise awareness about children's rights, in celebration of UNICEF's 35th anniversary of the Child Rights Convention in Sri Lanka. It aims to let children will express their understanding of these rights through art.

The workshop will begin with an introduction by a UNICEF team member, who will talk to the children about their rights. Following this, I will guide the children as they interpret these rights through their artwork.

The artwork created during this event will be displayed for two weeks as an art installation at the Viharamahadevi - Sathutu Uyana Park area. Plans are also in place to showcase the art in other provinces across the country.

All materials will be provided for the workshop.
